Combination drug in development
CagriSema (cagrilintide + semaglutide)
Also called CagriSema
The only combination here that has been tested properly: a fixed-dose pairing of an amylin analog and a GLP-1 drug, made by Novo Nordisk.
What is in it
Is there evidence for the combination?
Large phase 3 trials (REDEFINE 1 and 2) were published in 2025 1. Novo Nordisk filed for FDA approval in December 2025 2. In the open-label REDEFINE 4 trial against tirzepatide, CagriSema missed its main goal 3. It is not approved, and it cannot legally be compounded.
