Privacy policy
The Peptide Compendium is a free educational reference. Reading the site never requires an account, and nothing is for sale.
What we collect, and why
- Accounts (optional). If you create an account we store your email address, the name you give, and the compounds, charts and flashcards you choose to save. We use this only to run your account.
- Newsletter (optional). If you subscribe we store your email address and first name to send site updates. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your details at any time.
- Request a protocol (optional). We store what you send in the form (name, email, the compound and your details) to review the request and reply.
- Technical data. Like most websites, our host (Wix) records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited to run and secure the site. Searches in the library run in your browser.
Who processes it
Accounts, forms and the newsletter run on Wix, which stores the data for us as our service provider. We do not sell personal data or share it with advertisers, and we do not use advertising or tracking pixels.
Cookies and local storage
Our host may set technical cookies needed to serve the site. Signing in, or sending a form, stores a session token in your browser so the site knows who you are; signing out removes it.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from emails at any time, delete saved items from your account, or ask us to delete your account and data through the contact page.
Health information
Please do not send personal medical details. This site cannot give medical advice.
Outside links
Links to journals and regulators take you to sites with their own privacy policies.
Changes
